Almost 1000 people, young and old, took part in the 2009 Run for the Future and enjoyed themselves immensely. Each year the Run gets bigger with many families and groups getting involved to remember loved ones and friends who suffered from prostate cancer.
To date, Run for the Future has not only raised awareness about the symptoms of Prostate Cancer for men to look out for, and about the availability of simple tests to aid prostate cancer diagnosis, but has generated £180,000 for the Bristol Urological Institute Prostate Cancer Appeal.
Run for the Future 2010 will take place on Sunday 19 September at 12 noon on Bristol's Durdham Downs. To register and help save men's lives click here.
Photos tell the story better than words about the event, so here are some of the happy entrants from 2006 [2.1mb pdf] and 2007 [4mb pdf].
